We are composers and songwriters. As staff songwriters for several years with publishing giant Warner/Chappell Music, we wrote songs for an eclectic array of platinum award winning recording artists (Nancy Wilson, Cher, Pat Benatar, Teddy Pendergrass, Angela Bofill, Agnetha Foltskog of ABBA and Martha Davis of the Motels, among others) and for TV shows including Fame, General Hospital and As The World Turns. From there we moved on to writing more personal songs for ourselves and formed a band, Too Human, with several albums to our credit.
At the same time we began experimenting with instrumental music for various applications and this opened a whole new dimension. Our instrumental work is in another realm - atmospheric, eclectic, and totally in sync with the vibe of the project. From orchestral compositions to boppy jazz pieces, quirky little snippets
and moody vignettes we strive for our music to be an integral part of a film, creating tension and
intensity, sweetness and sensitivity or whatever meets the needs of the project.
Recent Experience
We just provided music for the first American production of Spanish playwright Diego Fernandez Sandez's play "In The Dead End" at Arts on the Lake to a packed house. With Lora Lee Ecobelli directing, the production was wonderful and our music fit in perfectly. Currently we have a song in the new film, "Fairhaven" starring Chris Messina (Julie and Julia) and Rich Sommer (Mad Men), which just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and our recent activity includes a song in the latest film from the Farley Brothers, "Hollywood and Wine" (starring David Spade, Chris Kattan, Pamela Anderson, Horatio Sanz and Chazz Palminteri) as well as original songs or scores for independent writers / directors / producers Brendan Nagle, Felipe Soares and Kat Alix-Gadreau; background music for award winning storyteller, Karen Glass; music for choreographer / dancer, Abby Bender, and background music for Helen Rainoff's Getting Centered Guided Meditation CD.
